What is Global Studies? What do students in the Global Studies major at UC Berkeley do? Introduced by the chair of the department, three all-star faculty members in Global Studies demonstrate what a student might discover in Global Studies classes through engaging samples of lectures and activities that happen in their classrooms. Topics include international human rights in relation to race and gender, climate change and resource conflicts, and technology competition between the US and China. This video was produced for Cal Week 2021 at UC Berkeley to introduce new students to Global Studies.
